Mandates
Daily budgets, per-call caps and endpoint allowlists, enforced on-chain.
Even superintelligence needs a budget. A mandate is the set of rules an agent wallet cannot break.
| Rule | What it stops |
|---|---|
| Daily budget | Spending more than you allow in a day |
| Per-call cap | Paying too much for a single call |
| Endpoint allowlist | Paying any seller you have not approved |
Enforced by the chain
The rules live in the contract that holds the agent's balance, not in a settings page. A payment that breaks a rule is rejected by the chain itself, even if the agent's software is buggy or compromised.
Checked twice
The buyer client checks the mandate before signing, so a bad call fails fast and costs nothing. The contract checks it again before any funds move.
Changing a mandate
Only the owner can change it. Every change is recorded on-chain.
