Is Nouspay live?
The protocol is pre-launch: contracts and the facilitator ship next. The web app already runs the 402 Inspector, the Agent Shop registry and more. See Status & roadmap.
Do agents need $NOUS to pay?
No. Every payment is in ETH. $NOUS gives holders lower facilitator fees and other tier perks.
What is the $NOUS contract address?
TBD. No address has been published. Ignore any address that does not appear on these docs and on nouspay.app.
Who sets prices?
Sellers. Nouspay never sets or caps seller prices.
What stops an agent from draining my wallet?
It never touches your main wallet. It has its own Agent Wallet with a daily budget, per-call cap and allowlist enforced on-chain, plus a kill switch.
What if a seller returns garbage?
It doesn't get paid. Funds are held per request and released only on a valid answer; failures are refunded and logged in public. See Escrow and Dispute Log.
Is there staking?
No. No staking, no emissions, no presale.
Which apps will there be?
Web, plus native apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS. See Native apps.
What are the fees?
The facilitator fee is TBD.
